I’m gonna say it, this is the best basic recipe for healthy banana bread. I’ve tried a TON of different versions, and this beats them all.

Ingredients
- 2 dl spelt flour
- 1 dl whole wheat flour
- 1 dl buckwheat flour
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 ripe mashed bananas
- 1/2 dl olive oil or coconut oil
- 1 dl Turkish yogurt
- 1/2 - 1 dl Maple or Agave syrup
- 2 eggs
Directions
- Step 1
- Heat the oven to 180°C. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add the banana, oil, yogurt, eggs, and syrup, if you like it sweet add more. Grease a bread form and add oats/coconut flakes so it does not stick and scoop in the dough. Slice a banana in half and place it on top if you so wish. Bake for 45-60 minutes. Slice it up and enjoy it!
