Let me present to you marinated tofu pita bread served with pickled onions, spicy chickpeas and raita topped with pomegranates, feta cheese, and cilantro. The secret to amazing tofu is present below. Tip! If you don’t like tofu you can repeat the process with halloumi instead.

Ingredients
- 1 pack natural tofu
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp honey
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 red chili pepper
- 2 tbsp flour
- Olive oil
Directions
- Step 1
- Start by pressing out all the liquids from the tofu.
- Step 2
- I usually place it between 2 papers and press.
- Step 3
- Cut the tofu into 1 cm thick slices and place it in a bowl with soy, minced garlic, chili, and honey and let it soak taste for 30 minutes.
- Step 4
- Place flour on a plate and dip all sides of the tofu bites in the flour and fry in olive oil on medium heat until crispy and golden.
- Step 5
- Assemble your pita according to what you like.
