Our granola can is constantly empty. I refill it and poff it’s gone again. Luckily it’s super duper easy to make healthy granola at home. Takes 5 minutes to whip together and bakes itself in the oven. I love to play around with different flavors. My basic seed and nut granola is naturally gluten-free and only contains stuff that’s good for you and your body. Make a batch and let me know how long it lasts.
Hope you like it,
Michelle

- Basic recipe:
- 2 dl buckwheat (whole)
- 1 dl pumpkin seeds
- 1 dl sunflower seeds
- 1 dl sesame seeds
- 1 dl flaxseed
- 1 dl almonds
- 1 dl pecans
- 1 egg white
- 1 tsp ground cardamom
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp flake salt
- 1 tbsp melted coconut oil
- 1 tbsp palm sugar
- Optional add-ons:
- 0.5 dl hemp seed
- 0.5 dl dried cranberries
- 0.5 dl shredded coconut
- 0.5 dl dried apple
- 0.5 dl mulberries
- 0.5 dl goji berries
- 0.5 dl cacao nibs
- 0.5 dl peanut butter
- … the list goes on and on
Directions
- Step 1
- Place the buckwheat in a bowl of water. Let it set for 30 minutes. Rinse WELL in hot water.
- Step 2
- In a bowl, whisk the egg white until bubbly. Add all the ingredients and mix. You don’t need to add coconut oil or sugar but they make it more tasty – less heathy.
- Step 3
- Bake in the oven on 100°C for 1-2 hours until golden.
- Step 4
- Add whatever add-ons you wish, or all of them haha (yum?).
