The Greek theme continues with the recipe for Keftedes. Keftedes is greek meatballs, full of flavor. I love to make these along with tzatziki, greek salad, and pita bread. One big greek fiesta.

Ingredients
- 600g minced meat
- 1 red onion
- 1/2 jar sun-dried tomatoes
- 2 tsp chopped thyme
- 1 tsp chopped mint
- 1 tsp dry oregano
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- Salt & Pepper
Directions
- Step 1
- If you want maximal flavor, start by chopping the onion and garlic and let it brown in some olive oil on the pan. If you lazy like me you can skip.
- Step 2
- Add the onions to the minced meat along with the rest of the ingredients.
- Step 3
- Remember not to mix around with raw meat too much, just as much as needed for blending everything evenly.
- Step 4
- Let the mix rest in the fridge under a cover for an hour or two.
- Step 5
- Heat the oven to 200°C and form small meatballs and place on a baking sheeted tray and bake for about 20 minutes.
- Step 6
- Serve with tzatziki, greek salad, and pita bread.
