In this post, I’ve gathered 5 healthy homemade granola recipes for you to make at home. I promise, making granola is so much easier than you think and you will never want to eat anything but homemade granola after you’ve tried any of these recipes.
Let me tell you something, I haven’t bought granola from a store in over a year. Yes, it’s true. Why would I when the one I make at home tastes better and contains no added sugar or additives as many store-bought unfortunately do.
I love to try different flavor combinations from whatever I happen to have at home, and usually, this is when the best recipes are born. Sometimes, I just want basic granola and that’s also ok, I’ve included a basic recipe as well in this collection. All my granola recipes are free from gluten and refined sugar, which makes them the perfect breakfast or snack, as your blood sugar will stay on a stable level.
Let’s jump into the collection of my best 5 healthy homemade granola recipes.
My best banana bread granola recipe
I need to start with this one as it is my most popular recipe on Instagram and has been reshared by so many home chefs out there. The sweetness from the banana mixed with the warming spices is just too good.
Blueberry pie granola recipe
Second out is probably my personal favorite, the blueberry pie granola recipe. Me oh my the combination of strong cardamom, vanilla, and blueberries is out of this world. Promise promise promise you will make this!
Guilt-free chocolate granola
Third out is this guilt-free chocolate granola, and here I want to enhance that I don’t think any food should be considered guilty or guilt-free, but this one does not contain anything that is not healthy for your body. It has a deep chocolate flavor and is sweetened with natural sweeteners. And it’s so incredibly good.
Healthy basic granola
This is the granola I make by far mostly at home and I personally think it’s everything else but basic. I often used it as a base for different flavor combinations. It’s the perfect go-to recipe to know by heart and then you just add whatever you want to add, spices, nuts, dried fruit, coconut… You name it.
Almond butter millet granola
Last but not least, I wanted to include this almond butter millet granola. It has such a delicate taste and consistency and it’s easy to make large chunks. Millet is naturally gluten-free, very nutritious, and easy for the stomach to digest, making it perfect for breakfast as you will stay full for long, especially when combined with the good fat from almonds.
I hope you liked this collection of 5 healthy homemade granola recipes, please let me know if you try them or if you have any other exciting flavor combinations you want me to try,
Michelle
